Nadia Alam
Principal/Evaluation Lead
Principal/Evaluation Lead
Nadia Alam founded Enquiry Evaluation in 2017 and serves as the consultancy's Principal and Evaluation Lead. Nadia began her career in education as an English Language Teacher in a public middle school in Ibaraki, Japan, where she participated in the Japan Exchange & Teaching (JET) Program. The experience sparked a curiosity about education in diverse cultural contexts and school system approaches to generating positive climates for students. Previously, Nadia was the Director of Institutional Research at St. Mark's School in Southborough, Massachusetts and a Consultant in Program Evaluation and Research at the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing. Nadia also spent eight years working in policy and research at the New England Association of Schools & Colleges (NEASC) and taught ESL. Nadia has volunteered for various education causes and nonprofits that seek to promote educational equity and cross-cultural understanding. She serves as Vice Chair of the City of Davis (CA) Human Relations Commission and as a co-leader for Sisterhood of Salaam Shalom. Nadia has a B.A. in Sociology and North American Studies from McGill University (Quebec, Canada), an M.Ed. from the Harvard Graduate School of Education (Cambridge, Massachusetts), and a Diversity and Inclusion Professionals Certificate from Cornell University. Nadia's favorite pastimes are running, watching old movies, and spending time with her husband and five-year-old son.
Orli Segal

Senior Research Associate
Orli Segal, Director of Communications at Enquiry Evaluation, graduated from Dickinson College in May 2015, majoring in Sociology with a concentration in race relations. As an undergraduate, Orli was a campus leader and activist in various organizations. Her interest in pursuing a career in Diversity & Inclusion developed while co-directing the Popel Shaw Center for Race & Ethnicity. Orli is excited to work with the talented team at Enquiry Evaluation and to be a part of such an impactful organization. For leisure, Orli enjoys outdoor adventure and traveling.
Barbara Chu
Senior Research Analyst
Barbara Chu, Senior Research Project Analyst, graduated from California State University, Sacramento in 2015 with a B.A. in Psychology and is currently pursuing her master's degree in Psychology at Touro University Worldwide. Her interest in issues of diversity and inclusion stem, in large part, from her unique background as a first generation Laotian-American who has lived in different parts of the U.S. Barbara brings extensive experience in data collection and management and has also taught ESL online to students in China. In her spare time, Barbara loves to craft, read, and spend time with her husband and three young boys.

Loris Adams
Reverend Loris Adams is the Director of Community and Equity Affairs at St. Mark’s School where, as a member of the Senior Administrative Team, she leads the school in formulating, strategizing, and implementing programs and initiatives aimed at fostering an inclusive, diverse, and equitable campus climate. Previously, Loris was the Lower School Dean of Community Life and Chaplain at Trinity Episcopal School in Charlotte, North Carolina. Loris’ main areas of focus are youth programming and adult/multi-generational diversity training. Additionally, Loris works to promote progressive approaches to curricula design, with attention to intersectionality, bias-assessment, incorporation of multicultural perspectives, and interfaith dialogue. An expert in multicultural and inclusive education, Loris has been invited to speak at regional and national conferences, has attended the National Diversity Practitioners Institute, and serves as a Consultant for the Glasgow Group, a leading educational consulting, coaching, and professional development agency. Loris holds a Master’s in Divinity from Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary (LTSS), where she served on the Presidential Search Committee in 2005/6. She also has a B.S. from Limestone College in Gaffney, South Carolina.
Kiara Fortson
Hailing from Atlanta, Kiara brings corporate and leadership expertise in diversity-and-inclusion. At present, Kiara is an Engagement and Inclusion Analyst at Mercedez-Benz USA (MBUSA) and prior to that was a Project Manager at the National Diversity Council. Kiara has been involved in various corporate-sponsored and other D & I project and events, including MBUSA’s Women Behind the W.H.E.E.L., the Upstate NY College Diversity Summit, the 2015 Georgia Women in Leadership Symposium, and the 2015 Inaugural LGBT-Allies Diversity Summit. Fluent in Spanish, Kiara has a B.A. in Spanish Language and Literature from Georgia State University and a Diversity Professionals Certificate from Cornell University. Kiara is deeply passionate about advancing the work of inclusion on school campuses.
Both Long
Nipheannaboth "Both" Long is a Spanish teacher at St. Mark’s School in Southborough, Massachusetts. Both is deeply committed to the work of inclusion, not just in the classroom, but in extracurricular activities such as athletics. Both has been an active member of the Community and Equity Committee at St. Mark’s and coaches soccer. He has been a coach and camp coordinator for the FCB Escola Soccer Camp in Massachusetts and is a self-described “soccer fanatic.” Previously, Both was a Multicultural Affairs Intern at Meadowbrook School. Both has a B.A. in Hispanic Studies from Boston College where he also coached club soccer. In his spare time, Both enjoys meditating, reading, and playing soccer. He loves traveling to explore different cuisines and intends to make at least one trip abroad each year.
Sofia Webster
Sofia Webster is a multiethnic woman of color with chronic illnesses based in Fremont, California. She is a social media and communications expert and works with Sins Invalid, a Disability Justice based performance project and movement building organization. She has a B.A. in English Literature from the University of Oregon, a place where she experienced a painful amount of ableism. When she is not offering education about Lyme disease or disability, Sofia loves spending time in desert environments and coloring.
Elizabeth Mosley
Elizabeth Mosley is a Development and Strategic Planning Consultant with expertise in nonprofit board leadership, grant writing/ research, startups, and technology sector diversity-and-inclusion recruitment and retention. An education and equity advocate, Elizabeth specializes in developing relationships with schools, employers, community organizations, faith-based groups, foundations, and corporations to leverage resources and provide opportunities for underrepresented women and youth, particularly youth interested in STEM careers. Recently, Elizabeth was appointed to serve a two-year term as Human Relations Commissioner for the City of Davis, California, where she makes recommendations to the City Council and promotes efforts to cultivate a local community that values the diversity among its residents and where discrimination and hate have no place. Additionally, Elizabeth works in Development and External Relations at the University of California-Davis School of Education. She serves on several education, tech and diversity committees, non-profit boards, and philanthropic organizations. One of her favorite quotations is: “It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.” Elizabeth enjoys spending time with her four children, traveling, and connecting with others. Elizabeth has a B.S. in Psychology with a Sociology minor and an Ed.M. in Educational Policy Studies from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Amanda Trainor
Amanda Trainor supports districts and schools engaging in redesign and turnaround in her work at the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. Her areas of interest include developing equity-focused school leaders, program evaluation, and vocational/technical education. Amanda has a B.A. in English from Northeastern University and an M.Ed. in education policy from Boston University.
